LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTER

The Philippine Air Force Leadership Development Center is the Unit primarily responsible for implementing the PAF Leader Development Program. Its organization is designed to deliver, implement, and improve the said framework. The PAFLDC is a Unit (Group Level) of the AETC. As a subordinate Unit of AETC, its staff offices and operating departments shall ensure that all leadership programs offered by AETC are aligned with the framework. The PAFLDC, through OA-8 instruction and direction, is also catering to other PAF Units outside AETC for the conduct and evaluation of leadership development programs. The mission of the unit is to develop PAF personnel at all levels into leaders of character and excellence, in support of the AETDC Mission. Its line staff provides for the administrative, operational, and logistical aspects of the Unit. On the other hand, the various departments within the Unit provide for the necessary planning, research, and programming to implement the PAF Leader Development Framework. The specific functions of PAF ALEN are as follows:

a. To craft leadership doctrines and align, integrate, and synchronize all leader and leadership development programs, plans, and policies of the PAF and the AFP
b. To design, develop, conduct, monitor, and evaluate training programs for leader and leadership development;
c. To conduct research and special studies on leader and leadership development; and
d. To establish linkages with Leadership Centers/Organizations of the AFP and other institutions.
