LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TOOLS

The Philippine Air Force Leadership Development Center recommends the employment of a suite of integrated tools to actively cultivate leadership across its ranks. It utilizes a 360 Feedback Framework and a Constructive Feedback Framework to provide leaders with comprehensive, multi-perspective insights into their performance and impact. Practical skills are honed through direct On-the-Job Training and a Coaching Program, with positive behaviors being reinforced by a formal Recognition System. Cognitive and communication abilities are sharpened through TI and E focused on critical thinking. Together, these tools form a cohesive system that systematically develops a leadership culture that is more adaptive to the changing nature of security landscape.
360 Feedback
360-degree feedback is a development tool for individual leaders and other personnel – the combined insights from the collective feedback process are then used to inform an individual’s development plan. PAFLDC 360 feedback concept aims to provide PAF personnel with comprehensive insights into their leadership behaviors, professional conduct, and impact on others, fostering self-awareness and driving continuous improvement in alignment with PAF core values and mission objectives.
