COMMUNICATION

Uses facts or ideas in a clear, logical, and comprehensive manner to actively engage personnel and all leaders of the PAF at all levels and to all its stakeholders.
Communication fundamentally impacts a leader's skills by being the primary vehicle through which these attributes are expressed and developed, significantly influencing both intrinsic and extrinsic dimensions. For Character, communication allows leaders to consistently demonstrate integrity, transparency, and empathy through active listening and professional external communications, fostering trust from proficient to expert levels. In terms of Competence, effective communication is essential for executing tasks, collaborating, and disseminating information, elevating leaders from basic clarity to expert-level strategic influence and complex information orchestration. Lastly, communication expands Capacity by enabling effective delegation, building strategic partnerships, managing crises, and scaling influence across larger teams and operations, allowing leaders to manage greater responsibility and reach from proficient to expert levels of organizational impact.

Public Relations and External Communications
Identifies, evaluates, and implements ways to nurture mutually beneficial stakeholder engagement, including media partnership and relations to actively collaborate and communicate with influence an audience/group, leader, or key stakeholder.

Information Management and Communications
Ability to present and impart facts or ideas to internal and external stakeholders in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner, including the formatting and designing of communication materials that convey information and messages for publication and general distribution, eliciting desired actions and responses.

Professional Writing and Composition
Conveys information and intention in written and verbal forms in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner that effectively articulates information, capturing all essential details and updates, and in a form fit for the intention, using a language that is clear, concise, and easy to understand.

Active Listening
Ability to actively seek out information and investigate different views and ideas, including the ability to listen and understand the unspoken feelings and concerns of others, while validating, updating data/information systematically, and organizing, structuring to clarify a situation, from appropriate sources, using questioning techniques to draw out the information needed
