Develops, maintains, and strengthens relationships while securing support, forming alliances, and managing engagement with both internal and external stakeholders who can provide information, resources, and assistance that advance PAF’s mandate.

Stakeholder engagement has a significant impact on leadership skills, with its most profound effects occurring at the advanced level. At this stage, leaders actively Design Strategic Collaborations and Build Strategic Partnerships, which demands and refines their Character through consistent integrity and transparency in external dealings. Concurrently, it critically enhances Competence by requiring complex negotiation and strategic communication, while vastly expanding Capacity by enabling the mobilization of resources and broader influence beyond internal organizational boundaries.
Design Strategic Collaboration
Creates venues, opportunities, systems, and processes for an intentional, collective approach to address public problems or issues through building shared knowledge, designing innovative solutions, and forging consequential change that achieves sustainable stakeholder engagement

Building Strategic Partnerships
Ensures long-term buy-in and ownership of strategic partnerships, enhancing the visibility, reputation, and influence of the AFP and initiating actions to reduce/eliminate relationship barriers and the adoption of policies and procedures aligned to Philippine national security interests

Managing Relations
Identifies and capitalizes on partnership opportunities through active representation and consultation, undertaking initiatives to help propel and promote Philippine national security interests and AFP initiatives

Strengthening Networks
Identifying, exploring, and adopting appropriate techniques and modalities to foster and secure support from existing networks and strengthens partnerships
